Chelsea Power Shift PTOs deliver clash-free shifts whether the vehicle is
stationary or on the move. Constant mesh input gears and specially designed
clutch packs make these PTOs ideal for applications that demand frequent PTO
shifting.
The 245 PTO series is a hydraulically operated (electric-over-hydraulic) and is
used with the 2003 and newer Ford "TORQSHIFT" automatic transmissions. The
chassis requires option "#62R - Transmission Power Take-off Provision" to allow
PTO installation.

- No Backlash to set: The PTO mounting gasket is not supplied with the PTO. Use
the gasket supplied with the transmission under the 6 bolt cover plate. It is
the correct thickness and material so that you will not have to set gear
backlash
- Note: The minimum engine speed for stationary operation is 1200 RPM for the
6.0L diesel. The diesel engine speed is preset from the factory (Ford) and
controlled by the EEC.
